Dan, my Icaro 4fight was also very loud... I installed speakers at both sides for the radio, as well as padded with cotton balls the inner area around the ears where that mesh is. I think noise is mostly coming through that mesh. Still a bit loud but it's acceptable.

I had a similar problem a number of years ago, before I went to Kali helmets. Using some lightweight foam and fabric that mostly matched my helmet liner, I added in an additional piece of liner in the temple area of my helmet. I used a hot-glue gun to affix it to the inside of the helmet, and it made a better seal along the pertinent part of the helmet but not creating any pressure on my head. It reduced the wind noise without blocking off overall sound. A major improvement!
